I can't believe how bonded we seem to be right now. It's like senior year all over again, but in a different place and with different people. I can't call these people my best friends yet or my newfound college barkada, but I could certainly call them as friends. We're having a computer lab orientation tomorrow, as well as lunch with Kuya Wilmon beforehand. Yipee. Hehe. I'll also be meeting my YFC buddy in DLSU, who texted me earlier.

Finally done with the algorithm of my MP!!! YES!!

Now comes the bloody part -- the program itself. Hehe.

I have an assignment for ALTRIG, but right now I'm arranging my requirements for The Malate. Yam (who has a new domain, by the way) is also applying too. :) Wish us luck!

I almost had a headache at CMPROG1 today...I better study really hard for that. =/ It's so frustrating at times. Bah. I really really need to study for that.

Anyway....

Proofreading my MP. :) Hehe. I still have to do something for The Malate, and some reading. Hmmm...busy, busy, busy.

CMPROG1, as usual, was a headache. I understood it, though, but it's like Physics: the teacher solves a problem and it looks easy, but when it's you who does the solving, you couldn't get it. [read more]

Things I'm Thankful For:

1. I'm thankful for my blockmates because they are so fun to be with. Not to mention that it feels like we've known each other forever. Ü And the fact that Ley allowed me to come with them even if they're all boys and stuff...and we went to Sta. Lu. ;)

2. I'm thankful for McDo. Hehe. I just love their chocolate sundae. (Ahhhhhh! The calories! As if I mind...hehe)

3. I'm thankful for my YFC bros and sis...'coz...just because. :)

4. I'm thankful because I'm starting to understand my MP.

5. I'm thankful...because of something he asked of me. :D

6. I'm thankful...because we're on the 3rd week of classes already! (Argh...PE...hehe)

And most of all...
7. I'm thankful to God...because He keeps on answering my prayers. He's so good.

Thank God because there wasn't much traffic today....anyway, so Ryan, Bobbit, Rjay, Aikel, Don, Mattie, Maan, Ate Grace and I watched A Walk to Remember at Sta. Lu today...la lang... the movie was great. Rjay was trying to hide his tears and everything, and he told me he can totally relate to the movie, about a girl being able to change a guy...then he made a comment about me. =/ Hehe. Then we went to the Big R and then had our studio picture.

Have to do my CMPROG1. :) Tell you stuff later, if I'm still awake.

Hey! I'm at the Gox Lobby...I would've used the computers in the Library, but I don't have an ID yet (seeing that I'm a frosh), and I left my EAF in my bag which was at the Library's deposit thingie...kind of like a package counter thing in the grocery. So much for waiting there...turns out I wouldn't be able to use the computers. =/ Wish we already have our IDs.

Anyway, I think all my blockmates have left already...we were supposed to stay till 5 because of the INTROSO report tomorrow, but we didn't. Oh well. I don't want to commute, so I'm waiting for my dad to fetch me. Hehe.

Anyway....I went to a YFC meeting earlier, during U-break. Whoopee. Ü It was fun! Jam, Noey, Pao and Greg were there, and it seems like fun. I'm not going to go full time in campus-base, of course, unless it's God's calling. I intend to stay in high school first. Ü But hey...Charmaine is right...Kuya Wilmon sure is cute...and nice. Ü

Hehe. Now I don't know where to go. I think I'll go hang in the consevatory and play with my machine project, ayt?

And I swear, I am starting to get broke over the fares for public transportation. It costs P30 from Shaw Boulevard to Antipolo?! Man, that's waaay too expensive. =/

I think I'll buy stored value cards in the LRT and the MRT so I can save more. Darn public transportation fare. >< Hmph.

Oh yeah...our PE prof wasn't there yesterday, so half of our block decided to go to G4. Hehe. Just want to share. Ü

Wohoo! I painted a house! Well, a part of it. A wall and a fence. :) Wohoo. Okay, I didn't do a lot, but I did something! Oh yeah, watch ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel) tonight, at 9:00 - 10:00 pm...there's an exclusive coverage of the Gawad Kalinga project! :) You won't believe how many people pledged and donated! We would be building houses for people! Yes! Ü

I still have to do my assignment and start analyzing my machine project. I'm not going to give up on that. Ü

The talk a while ago at East A4's covenant orientation went fine. Ü Thank God. I would never ever give a talk without being prayed over. It does wonders.

I'm going to Jansen Ville (spell check?) today!!! I didn't get to go yesterday because I was too tired from the other day, so now I'm going! :) I don't have the itch for build, as Kuya Kim has, but I want to go there anyway, to see what happened, and maybe take some pictures. Whopee.

And now I remember. I have an assignment for PE. Do it tonight. Hehe. And as I told Yam, I still have no idea how to start my Machine Project algo...but I'll follow what my prof, Ms. Limoanco said...write all the things that are supposed to happen first, before doing the algorithm itself. I'm making such a big deal of this because this is my first machine project, and it's due in a week, and I don't want to mess up because the year's just starting.

Wish me luck. With what? With everything. :P

Where is the world going to?

The hostage situation that happened last night was so brutal. =( The kid died, not because of the stabbings, but because of the bullets when the policemen shot at the hostage taker, which got the kid as well. =(

The policemen should've had better aim...I mean, they shot...but they could've shot only the hostage taker, not the kid.

God.

So far...college has been a blast. It's not exactly easy, but I'm getting along. I had to face some things that I didn't face in high school. Like, longer class hours, cold classrooms, and the professor speaking sloooowly or speaking softly, and even speaking fast. It's not that much of a culture shock, actually. [read more]

We just got a Spiderman desktop theme. Wohoo. Ü You know the part where the Green Goblin and Spiderman fought inside the burning building and Spiderman was twisting and everything...for some reason, I found that scene...appealing. Everytime I watch the video of Hero and I see that scene, I get the tingles. Hehe.

It's a Saturday...finally. I've been out for the entire day yesterday. We got dismissed from school earlier because our BASICON prof wasn't there, so we decided to watch a movie. At first, half of the block came with us, but then some left, and we were only 7 who watched Resident Evil at Robinson's Place Manila. That's like the fifth time I watched the movie, but the elevator scene still shocks me. Hehe. Vida and Wimby were sort of screaming during the shocking parts, while Marfel and Pong were laughing because of the dogs and Pong made a comment that he'd never eat tocino again. Noel was just laughing. Hehe.

Either way...it was cool. Block bonding, even if it's just seven of us. And it was a breakthrough for Vida too! She got to rode the LRT for the first time. Ü

They got down at DLSU while I bid them goodbye because I had to go to Layforce. I thank God because he really kept me safe, and I arrived at Layforce just in time for the last talk. I saw lots of people I haven't seen for a long time: Tsh, Ivan, Marck (who's leaving for Canada on the 15th...awww), Kuya Noli, Ate Sam, Ate MK, Ate Pudgie, Kuya Jaypee...it was fun. Then us East people went home, and Gia, Kuya Kim, Malou, Mark and I (the Lorenzo people!) rode a bus at Robinson's Galleria and got caught in a traffic. Then we rode a taxi at Rosario and got caught at the traffic again at the usually non-traffic floodway. We finally reached Bobbit's house at around nine, and we ate for a while, waited for Tito Jun to fetch Malou and then went to Lorenzo to see the youth camp of the other cluster. I told Bobbit to hold me when I see him and bring me back to earth, so I don't lose control.

And I did see him and he actually talked to me a couple of times. He came from school and he told me he was having a headache already. Hehe. And according to Rjay, he was glancing at me a couple of times, but I didn't want to think about it. (Never assume anything, right Katia?)

The electricity seemed to have...lessened a bit, and I guess I'm glad. I can control myself when I'm talking to him and everything. Some stuff I noticed about him kind of struck me...that he was actually dancing even if he didn't want to dance...and that he was playing with his little brother, which looked soooo sweet. I mean, you know. It's a complete turn on when you see the guy you like playing with his little brother or sister. Awww...

I guess I still like him...but I still want to get over him. It thrilled me when he talked to me...and when he waved goodbye at me...even if he still doesn't text me and everything...I guess it's okay. Hey, that's better, I guess. God would give me the one He has created "just for me". But I don't want to force myself to get over him because I know it won't work. You know that?

Haaay...Vida, this is the one I'm going to tell you about...but if you read this already, then you probably know. But if you want a more detailed story, I'll tell you.

I think I better work on my CMPROG1 assignment. I still have a talk tonight at the Sienna's reco-planning. Ü
