Jumpstarting November
Hello November. :)
It’s a non-working holiday today and today is also the day we fly to Singapore. I normally would not have time to blog given the original schedule, but some people from Philippine Airlines called us today and told us that our flight has been delayed a couple of hours. Oh well. More time to blog and write :)
How’s my NaNoWriMo status so far? It’s good. I made it to 3,000+ words yesterday so that’s pretty good progress. I’m hoping to write as much as I can to offset the days I might not be able to write (like this weekend). I won’t be bringing Ginger along, but I will be kidnapping my dad’s laptop and his extra flash drive (with a whopping 4GB capacity) while we’re in Singapore. I’m hoping to get Aslan there, since I heard gadgets are a lot cheaper in Singapore than in Manila.
Who is Aslan? Not the Narnia character, but something I’m hoping to get before the year ends. It’s related to this post, which means, if I find one that is affordable in Singapore, Ginger will be finally retired. Does anyone want to buy a 3 1/2 year old secondhand laptop? It’s still in pretty good condition, but it’s definitely not a gamer type of laptop, more on a typing and internet laptop. :) Gimme a comment if you are interested.
Last Friday Wednesday (argh, my internal calendar is screwed up), we had this pretty long meeting at work, and I therefore conclude that November is going to be very crazy month. From the moment I get back at work on Monday (night shift ahoy! I’ll be going there straight from the airport), I have documents to check and finish. I have meetings to attend to next week (provided they get scheduled), and the regular work. Plus of course, NaNoWriMo, which sums up how crazy November is going to be. I think I’ll survive, and I think I’ll get to loving this month as well.
I’m definitely getting a small corkboard to put up my to-do list on for November at the office.
Okay, I think I shall work on my NaNoWriMo novel now. I’m still deciding if my female main character would have some experience from drug rehab, but probably not. I want her to have this cool, rebel aura, but not too rebel that she’d actually destroy herself.
Expect less posts the next few days but I’ll catch up with a photo-full (eh?) of posts when I come back. :)

Hey Tina! I’m out looking for a second hand laptop. How much are you selling yours? And what are the specs? Email me please, thanks! =)
