Help others say NO to drugs
One of my college projects was to visit a drug rehabilitation center. I have met a lot of people from almost all walks of life from all the organizations and activities I have joined, but to be honest, I have never personally met a self-confessed drug addict, so that experience was a new one for me. It’s sad to hear their stories about how they got addicted, but it is also inspiring to hear how they overcame or are trying to overcome their addiction.
Part of their stories always include people who supported them during their rehabilitation period. I know for sure that it is important for people who are trying to recover from a particular struggle to have a support group or person, who will stand by that person from the start up to the finish, comfort him and correct him when necessary.
Drug addiction is no joke. One cannot go through drug rehabilitation alone. For a free referral to find treatment for yourself or for your loved one, call 1800NODRUGS or visit 1800nodrugs.com.
