Oh yeah, update! I updated some of the content of the RefineMe.org. :) Look up there at the menu under the header graphic. :) I’m not yet done writing the About section, but the Faith and Writings are already done. I still have some more additions in the Writings sections that I have yet to add, plus I need to figure out a hack that would let excerpts show in the link. Haha. Anyway, I’d really appreciate comments any of the stories I posted. :)

I believe in the power of positive prophecy. And because of that, I will write it down here for anyone who cares enough to read this to know: Sometime in the near future, I will write and publish a book.
Amen.

The first writer I got introduced to is Elizabeth Wakefield. Yes, Elizabeth Wakefield of Sweet Valley fame. I know she’s not a real writer, but reading so much about her during my childhood years influenced me to want to be a writer. I loved their stories so much and I was so amused that Elizabeth could already write stories when she was seven that I thought, I could do that too.
And I tried to do it. I think I started writing stories when I was in Grade 3. I can’t remember what my first story was about exactly, but most of my stories then were about a group of friends who got into different adventures and mis-adventures — I thank Francine Pascal and Sweet Valley for that. :p The first real series I made was about a group of friends named Sarah Springfield, Carmella Churnichan, Jericho Villa, Patrick Grange, Veronica and Ericka, I think. I can’t remember the names of the rest. They were a group of friends who all live in Ireland and formed some kind of club and whatnot. They have this awesome clubhouse that my friends and I can only dream about, as well as love teams: Jericho and Sarah (my favorite) and Carmella and Patrick. I knew that their group got bigger and there were even French twins where one of them was psychic and the last solid story I remembered about them was that they were investigating in a haunted house (against the warnings of their group’s resident psychic) in their town where a vampire was supposed to live. Sarah got hypnotized by the vampire and eventually became one, and Jericho had to do something about it or else Sarah would be gone from him forever. He ends up killing Sarah the vampire and then he wakes up, realizing it was only a dream.
Boring huh.

To one of my favorite household members last year and to my “predecessor” (haha), HAPPY BIRTHDAY OCHE! You have grown so much from the first time I’ve met you and I’m really really proud of you. Continue to let God use you as His instrument in YFC-DLSU, and may you shine your light for Him in everything that you do. :)
Again, happy, happy birthday! May you have many more birthdays and blessings to come into your life. Inay is always here for you, even if I’m not in school anymore. ;) I’m always praying for you. I love you! ♥
So how do I describe yesterday? It was not as bittersweet as high school graduation was. No one even shed a tear — maybe because it’s because we were all so happy that we made it through a major hurdle of our lives. And maybe, personally, I wasn’t that sad because I know we’d still be able to see each other afterwards. I don’t know how, but I just had this feeling that we’d still be seeing each other a lot even if we’re all done with school. Perhaps because we are bound to work in Makati? Haha, I don’t know. Or maybe it’s just because it would be easy to get together even after school because we know how to go around already, unlike in high school, when we were all still busy with the next chapter in our lives.
Anyway, the graduation yesterday was very…nice, for the lack of better words. :) It was so nice to see everyone all dressed up in black robes (ala Harry Potter style as Micko, Vida and I put it) and even if the ceremony was just too long, it was still fun. The event wasn’t as solemn as the school wanted it to be because we all just want to talk and laugh at the silly surnames (no offense :p) and at some bloopers onstage. Plus when Bro. Armin congratulated us and we finally turned our tassels to the other side, we couldn’t help but whoop at the joy of it all. It was nice seeing the smile on Bro. Armin’s face as I climbed on the stage and he recognized me (I hope he did…haha, he did have this expression on his face as if he knows me from the GK dinner we had) and getting the pseudo diploma and the DLSU pin. The singing of the Alma Mater song left us kind of bitin though…we’re used to singing it twice, but we only sang it once.
But it’s all good. :) We wanted to get pictures onstage, but everyone decided to go there so we decided not to anymore. After hanging at the PICC for a while, my parents and I headed over to SM Mall of Asia, ate lunch at Italianni’s, went around the mall (well, parts of it), bought shoes because our heels were killing us and went home. It was a good day. :) What an understatement.
And here’s the “obligatory” thanks message, even if half of these people won’t even read this. :P

I’m really happy that you’re home for Father’s Day. :) You look waaaay different now than you do here in this picture, but inside you’re still the same Papa that Mama, Kuya and I all love. :) Naks. I know for sure that you’re going to read this…so eto nalang: HAPPY FATHER’S DAY PAPA! I love you! ♥

This one goes out to the other Father that I still don’t quite know so well because of His greatness, but love very much. I figured most people forget about You this day and to think we all call You Father. Thank You for being the perfect Father to me (and everyone else) even if I usually doubt You and hurt You. Thank You most especially for Your love because without Your love, I don’t think I’d even be here at all.
So…Happy Father’s Day, Father God. ♥ I love You!

And to all other Dads out there…HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! You rock. :p
It’s really and truly over. Ladies and gentlemen, I am now officially unemployed. I am now a statistic. :p
I wish I had better pictures to show how the entire event went through (well, I do have pictures, but I’m a bit too lazy to transfer them yet), but it would have to wait for now. Because I need a nap before I go to my CLP. :P
This is it! Welcome to the world. :)
I’ll post more sentimental whatever thoughts later. I just want to say this out to the people who sat through the entire 3 hour event with me in black gowns inside the PICC Plenary Hall:
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY GRADUATES OF 2005-2006 (Third Term)! =)
Thizizit!
